# Limit Instruments in Quick Search

By default the Quick Search contains all instruments in your workspace. This can be overwhelming or show too many options. In Configure > Preferences > General > Quick Search, you can disable the **Show All Instruments** option and select the individual instruments you would like in the Quick Search.
