# Workspaces Not Showing Up

In case you can't find your workspaces when starting MotiveWave, this might occur after you reset/reinstall/upgrade MotiveWave. If you need to restore a workspace, then you can do so using one of the automated backup files found in MotiveWave Backup folder ( via **Configure menu > Settings > General > Backup > Auto Backup**).

After that you can create a new workspace and restore the backup files (via **File menu > Restore**). See [#restore-from-backup](https://docs.motivewave.com/user-guide/console-1/backup-and-restore#restore-from-backup "mention")
