Time and Sales

The Time & Sales panel shows historical ticks for the selected instrument. The data and columns available in this panel will depend on the broker or data service that you have chosen. The following example shows the Time & Sales panel for the E-Mini Nasdaq 100 contract:

For convenience, a button is available on the tool bar to toggle the display of this panel. Alternatively choose View > Time & Sales Panel from the top menu bar or File menu > New > Time & Sales Window to open a separate panel.

Time & Sales Settings

General

End Time

Rows – Select the amount of rows to display.

Row Height – Assign the fixed height to the rows.

Location – Selects location for the panel on the chart.

Price Format – Display all price digits or only part of the price.

Time Format – Select time format.

Horz Lines – Display and configures color and size of horizontal lines on the Time & Sales panel.

Vert Lines – Display and configures color and size of vertical lines on the Time & Sales panel

Show Header – Display the header row.

Locked – Stop new sales from being entered. Can be used to analyze trades without them disappearing from view.

Stripe Rows – Add horizontal bands on every other rows to create striped effects on the panel.

Show Vertical Roll – Display a vertical scroll on the right of the panel.

Show Toolbar – Toggle the display of the tool bar at the top of the panel. If this is disabled, right click on the panel to access the settings option.

Colors

Font – Select the font for the Time & Sales panel.

@Ask – Select color for trades that happen at the ask.

@Bid – Select color for trades that happen at the bid.

Below Bid – Select color for trades that happen below the bid.

Above Ask – Select color for trades that happen above the ask.

Highlight Big Sizes – Background highlighting can be applied to larger trade sides.

Filter

Min Trade Size – Only show trades this size or larger.

Max Trade Size – Only show trades this size or smaller.

Aggregate Period (ms) – Trades are aggregated if they occur within the aggregation window, have the same price and them same Ask Tick value. These trades must occur in sequence (no non-matching trades between them).
