# Charts Show Incorrect Historical Data

Charts may not show correct historical data for a number of reasons. Please try the following as a first step of troubleshooting:

1. Right click the chart background and select Clear Local Data. This will delete the local cached data and redownload it from your connection.
2. On **Interactive Brokers** connections, go to ***Configure > Settings > Historical Data > General*** and uncheck the **Google Ext Data** option.
