# Changing the Look and Feel

MotiveWave™ provides several options for changing the look and feel of the window decorations, docking framework, table colors and chart colors. Use the **Settings** dialog to change these attributes (as well as many others). This dialog can be opened by pressing the **Settings** button at top right and bottom right of the console window or by choosing *Configure > Settings* from the top menu bar.

### **Fonts**

#### **System Fonts**

The system font can be selected via the MotiveWave's ***splash screen > Options > Advanced > System Font:***

In case you would like to add a different font family to the font list, you can simply download the font and install it on your operating system. Any operating system fonts will show up in this list.

After you have selected a new system font, click on OK button and make sure to restart MotiveWave for the change to take effect.

#### In-App Fonts

Fonts and icon sizes can be changed from the **Fonts** panel. Select the **General Font/Icon Size** option to adjust the overall size of the icons and fonts for the windows and dialogs. This option can be particularly useful on a high resolution screen.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.motivewave.com/user-guide/console-1/changing-the-look-and-feel.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
