# Time Range Measurements Are Incorrect

MotiveWave does not include weekends, outside trading hours and holidays in elapsed time. Some traders prefer to see the elapsed time for measurements, this can be changed in ***Configure > Preferences > Chart > Chart Settings > Time Method*** (can be set to elapsed time or trading time) or ***Configure > Settings > Chart > Chart > General > Time Method***.
