# MotiveWave Extensions Directory

You may need to remove custom studies or strategies from the MotiveWave extensions directory for troubleshooting reasons. Once removed from the directory, they will no longer be loaded or available for your workspace. This directory can be found in:

Windows - C:\Users\\\<username>\MotiveWave Extensions\\\
macOS - /Users/support/MotiveWave Extensions/

Custom studies and strategies can be moved back into the extensions directory after we've completed the troubleshooting and they will once again be available for your workspace.
