# Connect MotiveWave to R|Trader Pro Gateway

Some MotiveWave users may want to connect multiple trading platforms to their Rithmic account. In order to avoid paying multiple platform fees you can use Rithmic's free software [R|Trader Pro](https://www.rithmic.com/rtraderpro) to feed data to your trading platforms (including MotiveWave). Here are the instructions:

Connect to R|Trader Pro (the regular R|Trader will not work). Be sure to enable “Allow Plug-ins” setting, if this setting is enabled it will be yellow in color.

Once you are connect to R|Trader Pro, open MotiveWave and connect to Rithmic. Under the Market Data drop down menu you will need to select R|Trader Gateway.

R|Trader Pro will now be feeding data to MotiveWave, you can now connect your other trading platforms to R|Trader Pro.
