What Do the Scanner Results Fair, Good, Etc. Mean?
The results fair, good, very good, and excellent depend on the type of scan.
For Elliott Wave and Harmonic scans, it is a measure of the internal scoring. This is score is proprietary but is based on the rules and ratios for the pattern.
For study scans the result is based on how many bars back when the match was found:
Excellent - matches on the current bar
Very Good - matches one bar back
Good - matches 2 - 4 bars back
Fair - matches 5 or more bars back
The number of bars back is set from the "Lookback Bars" setting on the criteria panel.
